Who is Bob Harvie?

Bob Harvie is the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District, challenging five-term Republican incumbent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick. A lifelong Bucks County resident, Harvie has served as a Bucks County Commissioner since 2020 — part of the team that flipped the county board for the first time since 1983 — and previously served as Chair of the Falls Township Board of Supervisors for nearly 12 years, longer than anyone in Falls Township history. He is also a former high school social studies teacher and department chair who spent two decades in Bucks County public schools. He has won five elections in one of Pennsylvania's most competitive purple counties and has built an over 90% bipartisan voting record in county government.
